About me, Sue Britton
I'm a decorative artist living in Cheselbourne, Dorset with my husband Nick and our three dogs.
I've always loved colour and design and so did a BA in Textile Design.
Since leaving college I have freelanced as a textile designer and then worked on commissions hand painting furniture and decorative designs onto interior products.
I returned to textiles in an exciting way when I attended a course on free motion embroidery.
This excited me hugely as it enabled me to embody everything I love doing in art and design. It is great that I am now drawing, pattern making and using colour in my textile work.
